My wife and I feel incredibly lucky to have worked with Roger during the hunt for, and purchase of, our new house in Seattle. We knew from the beginning that we were in good hands with Roger. His knowledge of the area was immediately apparent. We were new to the city and Roger immediately devoted himself to our house hunt, eagerly explaining the attributes of each Seattle neighborhood and helping us refine our search parameters without ever pressuring us to make a decision. We were quite selective about what we wanted, and Roger was always willing to hunt for more listings and visit more houses. When we found OUR house, Roger could not have worked harder to close the deal. He stayed on top of every part of the process to keep the contract moving along, and when we ran into unforeseen delays with our financing, Roger negotiated with the seller for the additional time we needed to complete the process. I can say with certainty that without Roger, we would not have gotten the house we are so happily living in today. On top of all that, he's just a really nice guy who clearly enjoys his work. He works hard to minimize the stress of home buying, and he treats the people he works with as more than just "clients". We still frequently revisit the list of "Roger's Recommendations" for restaurants, shops, and other city attractions that we compiled during the house hunt. So, in case you couldn't tell, we can't recommend Roger highly enough.

Honest

Roger went out of his way to help us find the perfect house for us. His knowledge of the area and the market led us to a better deal than we had expected. He gave honest opinions on houses we looked at.

He really was on the side of the buyer and would not have wanted to see a sale unless it was the right house.

Responsive

Oh, how to describe Roger -- eventually the English language will have a bigger list of positive adjectives, but let me write what I can.

My wife and I were moving to Seattle from San Francisco, and as such had to find a house mostly remotely. We knew we'd have to rely only on a couple of trips to the city and a LOT of communication with our realtor. Our first realtor (a recommendation from a friend) made us believe this would be a stressful process -- she was not responsive, was unable to really understand our requirements, and didn't have much useful information about potential neighborhoods.

Then came Roger! We dropped our old realtor and found Roger Morris through a recommended list of realtors from our bank. Talk about a world of difference! Roger from day one was immediately responsive via telephone and e-mail. He answered all of our questions quickly and knowledgeably -- often peppered with his own experiences or lessons from previous sales. He was able to quickly identify and introduce us to the neighborhoods that matched our style and requirements. During our trips he was happy to pick us up and drive us all around as we started to truly discover Seattle.

During the purchase process he was our closest advisor and advocate, always hounding the right people for paperwork and making sure we had all our i's dotted and t's crossed throughout the process.

I can't overestimate how stressful the home buying process *could* have been from 1000 miles away -- Roger singlehandedly made it one of the most smooth and pleasant experiences we'd ever been through. Just overall, he was a very helpful, thoughtful, and knowledgeable realtor with an extraordinarily positive attitude.

We love Seattle and our new home and are indebted to him for his help -- I'd recommend him to anyone in or moving to the Emerald City!
